Ajman Center for Social Responsibility – one of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiatives, organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of Social Responsibility in Building Enterprise Profits” as part of the Social Responsibility Culture initiative aimed at organizing a series of specialized educational workshops for the private sector, with the aim of raising awareness of the concepts of social responsibility, its applications and the principles of sustainability Encouraging business owners to launch sustainable community initiatives and adopt best community practices that support business sustainability and growth.
The workshop was attended by Nasser Al Dhafri, CEO of the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility. The workshop was presented by Kholoud Hindi, a consultant in the field of sustainability and social responsibility, in the presence of officials and representatives of establishments from companies and factories.

Al-Dhafri stressed the importance of the workshop and its role in exchanging experiences and highlighting the best practices and methodologies used in the field of social responsibility and the impact of this on the levels of trust between establishments and members of society, and in what contributes to the growth and sustainability of the business of private sector enterprises, stressing that the field of social responsibility is characterized by development and creativity in the implementation of projects. and initiatives.
Al-Dhafri added: “Projects and initiatives of private sector establishments have a major role in improving the quality of life, increasing sustainable social and economic well-being, preserving resources and providing added values ​​to members of society.”
The CEO of the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility stated that the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility is keen to organize a series of specialized workshops in cooperation with its partners from the concerned authorities in the field of social responsibility and private sector establishments with the aim of creating a platform for developing and innovating initiatives and projects that support the efforts made in the field of social responsibility.

The workshop dealt with the definitions of social responsibility and the dimensions of positive community initiatives on the reputation of the establishments “the economic, legal, humanitarian, and moral dimension” and its reflection on the increase in profits, its continuity, sustainability and growth.
The workshop reviewed the importance and value of social responsibility applications in establishments, the extent to which the social role of companies is reflected in the growth of profits, how to build social capital, which in turn leads to improving the efficiency of the economic performance of companies, the importance of building relationships and partnerships between the public and private sectors, and the role of social responsibility in reducing costs and limiting Spending by establishments, the role of social responsibility in achieving community well-being, and mechanisms to encourage institutions to achieve a balance between material profit, community service and environmental safety. It also presented a number of pioneering models for global companies and brands that adopt the concept of social responsibility through qualitative initiatives and projects.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the attendees recommended the importance of organizing joint workshops and events between the concerned authorities in the field of social responsibility and private sector establishments with the aim of exchanging experiences and identifying the best practices of social responsibility and ways to develop existing projects and initiatives.
