Ajax has lost against FC Groningen on Sunday, but the feeling towards the PSV topper next week remains the same, says Carel Eiting. The people of Amsterdam are not disturbed after the tick in the High North.
Ajax will play against PSV at home next week. “The feeling is no different,” says Eiting in front of the Veronica Inside camera. “The mood is of course not right now. It is important that we analyze well what went wrong and not just say that it was not right. We must look critically and learn from it so that it does not happen again.”
Eiting knows it can do in Groningen. “I’ve been here twice now and twice we had a hard time. We knew they would hit it. We ran too much, had too few second balls and didn’t dare play too much.”
“It is difficult to play football, but it is possible, because the spaces were there, but then you have to play them.”
