Southwest Airlines removed a three-year-old boy – along with his family – from a flight after the boy refused to wear the mask. The boy is autistic, according to the mother, who told CNN affiliate KPRC that she was carrying a note from her son’s doctor but was still asked to get off the plane. The CEO of the company addressed the issue in a more extensive interview, explaining that they have concluded “that there should be no exception” to the rule of wearing masks.
