TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com – At least 14 permanent employees through Yosodiningrat & Partner Law Firm took AirAsia Indonesia to legal action.

Radhitya also explained that AirAsia Indonesia had cut wages before the Covid-19 pandemic took place in Indonesia.

Employees consisting of pilot captains, first officers to cabin crew asked for layoffs rather than not being clear and not getting a salary.

“Article 169 Paragraph (1) letters c and d of the 2003 Manpower Act, namely because the company has not paid the salary for more than 6 consecutive months and has also failed to carry out the obligations as promised in the work contract, for example, such as not paying BPJS Contribution, Health Insurance. and also cut wages unilaterally, “said Radhitya.

Radhitya hopes that AirAsia Indonesia will have good faith in fulfilling the demands of the 14 employees who have filed a lawsuit against AirAsia.

“They through our attorney ask for good faith from AirAsia Indonesia to fulfill their rights,” said Radithya.

He also said that he had filed a complaint with Polda Metro Jaya regarding the case with Police Report No: LP / 2930 / V / YAN.2.5 / 2020 / SPKT PMJ dated 20 May 2020.

The allegation that was complained of was a criminal act of embezzlement and the issuing of employee salary slips for March 2020, but the salary was not paid.

From this report, said Radithya, the Investigator of the Directorate of Criminal and Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya had summoned and asked for information from the AirAsia Company Management.
