Aira Samulin’s Bulevardin home’s belongings were moved – 2024-03-10 00:53:45

A new place has been found for Aira Samulin’s Bulevard apartment, Ilta-Sanomat reports.

A dance legend Aira Samulin died last October. Samulin lived in Helsinki on Boulevard, and now a new place has been found for the belongings of his city home.

Aira’s granddaughter Kiti Samulin tells Ilta-Sanom that the goods have been taken to Hyrsylä Mutka, where Aira’s home museum will be opened. The museum is a copy of Aira’s home in Helsinki.

Hyrsylä Mutka, located in Lohja, was Aira’s second home, and Aira often organized events and presentation tours there.

Kiti Samulin has been the housekeeper of Hyrsylä Mutkaa after Aira’s passing. He says how the atmosphere in the house is the same as Aira’s in Helsinki.

– I can now go to my grandmother’s village when I miss her, Kiti Samulin told Ilta-sanomo.
