AIADMK Ends Alliance with BJP for Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

Chennai: The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will not form an alliance with the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

AIADMK leader Jayakumar told reporters that the party is holding talks with various parties for seat allocation for the elections and an announcement will be made in this regard at the appropriate time. BJP state president K. Jayakumar also accused Annamalai of giving importance to him than the party.

The Hindu reported that Jayakumar said Annamalai was making statements about things that never happened to divert attention from a few issues, but this tactic would not work.
