Ahead of El Clasico, Busquets Praise Casemiro

The classic served this weekend. Ahead of that duel, midfielder Barcelona, Sergio Busquetspraise casemiro who play for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona meet each other at the Santiago Bernabeu in the continuation of LaLiga, Monday (21/3/2022) early morning WIB. This is a prestigious duel in Spain that always grabs the attention of the world.

Well, even though the two clubs have high rivalry, it turns out that competition does not apply between players. Busquets even openly admits his admiration for Casemiro.

“If (Casemiro) is not the best, he is in the top ranks. You just have to look at his game, look at his record or what he has done,” said Busquets, quoted by Marca.

“Players in our position are often forgotten because, at the end of the day, people focus on goals, shots, assists. We have a less clear but much more important role, which is to be in the midfield of the team, controlling everything.”

Although impressed with Casemiro, Busquets will not choose who is the best player. He will only focus on his team-mates at Barcelona.

“I admire him. Although Real Madrid have many good players, but I will not take one of them, I will still trust my teammates,” Busquets explained.

“But as a football lover, I can appreciate the play of other players and teams,” he said.
