Against 7 Politicians, AHY Faces Two Lawsuits at the Central Jakarta District Court. Page all

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The internal political chaos of the Democratic Party has now continued to court. A number of cadres who did not accept were fired through legal channels.

On Monday (8/3/2021), six Democrat cadres who were fired sued the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono ( AHY) to the Central Jakarta District Court.

As posted on the official website of the Central Jakarta District Court, the lawsuit is registered with case number 147 / Pdt.G / 2021 / PN Jkt.Pst.

Six cadres filed the lawsuit, namely Marzuki Alie, Darmizal, Tri Yulianto, Achmad Yahya, Yus Sudarso, and Syofwatillah Mohzaib.

Meanwhile, there were three people who were sued. Apart from AHY as the general chairman, there is Secretary General of Democrat Teuku Riefky Harsya and Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Hinda Pandjaitan Party.

In the petitum of his lawsuit, Marzuki Alie Cs asked the panel of judges at the Central Jakarta District Court to cancel the Decree of the Honorary Council of the Democratic Party which stated their dismissal.

In addition, they also asked the panel of judges to state that AHY, Teuku Riefky and Hinca Pandjaitan had committed acts against the law.

Jhoni Allen lawsuit

Jhoni Allen Marbun had previously filed a similar lawsuit at the Central Jakarta District Court.

Jhoni, who did not accept that he was kicked out of Democrats, sued AHY, Teuku Riefky and Hinca Pandjaitan.

He also asked for his dismissal to be overturned by a panel of judges.

The lawsuit was registered on Tuesday (2/3/2021), and registered under the number 135 / Pdt.G / 2021 / PN Jkt.Pst.

Thus, the seven Democratic cadres who were fired by AHY due to internal chaos in the party have now taken legal channels.

Previously, the Head of the Strategic Communications Board of the Democratic Party’s DPP, Herzaky, said that the seven cadres had been dishonorably dismissed.

Jhoni Alen with Darmizal, Yus Sudarso, Tri Yulianto, Syofwatillah Mohzaib, and Ahmad Yahya were fired because they were considered involved in and supported the coup attempt.

Meanwhile, Marzuki Alie was fired because he was considered proven to have violated ethics. The former chairman of the DPR is considered to have stated openly about hatred and enmity for the Democratic Party in the mass media so that the public will know about it.

Later, the dismissed cadres attended the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress in North Sumatra which gave birth to Moeldoko as general chairman and Jhoni Allen as secretary general.

Two trials

Head of Public Relations at the Central Jakarta District Court, Bambang Nurcahyono, confirmed the lawsuit of the seven cadres who were fired by the Democratic Party.

The plan is for two trials to be held in the near future. The lawsuit filed by Jhoni Allen will go to trial first.

“The political party lawsuit by Johni Allen Marbun and AHY was carried out on March 17, 2021, the Chief Judge was chaired by Mr. Buyung Dwikora,” said Bambang.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit filed by Marzuki Alie and five other democratic cadres will be held a week later.

“The trial for the political party lawsuit between Marzuki Alie and AHY will be heard on March 23, 2021, Tuesday, with the Chairperson of the Panel of Judges, Mrs. Rosmina and Member Judges, Mr. IG Eko Purwanto and Mr. Teguh Santoso,” said Bambang.

Meanwhile, Kamhar Lakumani, deputy of the Democratic Party’s Election Winning Agency, considered the lawsuit to be ridiculous.

“This lawsuit is ridiculous, which means they themselves do not believe in themselves and trust the fake KLB forum they are holding,” Kamhar said in a written statement, Monday (8/3/2021) night.

This is because, said Kamhar, one of the results of the KLB held by the anti-AHY camp was to restore the membership status of Marzuki Alie and a number of cadres who had been fired.

Kamhar said that the six former cadres were the movers of the anti-AHY KLB which was held in Deli Serdang, Friday (5/3/2021).

In addition, Kamhar also insinuated Marzuki to better focus on his duties as chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Democratic Party as the result of the Deli Serdang KLB.

“To slightly divert the memory of the public who previously claimed not to be part of the GPK PD, but in reality the public later witnessed him coming to North Sumatra earlier for the fake KLB activity,” said Kamhar.
