NEW YORK, KOMPAS.TV – Citizens of the United States (US) who have been fully vaccinated can gather with those who have also been vaccinated in the same room without having to wear masks or apply social restrictions. This is revealed in the US federal health protocol guidelines (prokes) as reported from Associated Press, Monday (9/3).

The guideline recommendations also state that people who have been vaccinated can hang out in the same way as people who are considered to have a low risk of severe disease. For example, in the case of grandparents who have been vaccinated while visiting their healthy children and grandchildren.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the prokes guidelines on Monday (8/3).

This prokes guide is designed to meet the growing demand, as many adults are being vaccinated and wondering whether vaccination gives them the freedom to visit family, travel or do the things they used to do before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

“We understand that people want to be vaccinated so that they can do activities with their loved ones,” said CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky.
