Again infection at company Coevorden, third corona patient in Drenthe

The infection came to light last night. Earlier in the day it was announced that a Bannink Packaging employee living in Germany in Coevorden also had the virus. The first Dutch corona patient in whom the virus was diagnosed Sunday also works at that company. The patient’s partner is also infected.

The infected people within the company were tested after contact investigations revealed that they were a risk, GGD Drenthe reports. Such an investigation looks at who an infected person has been in contact with and who has complaints. The health service cannot say whether there are more people waiting for a test result at this time.

Home insulation

As with other cases, contact investigations have been started regarding the new infected patient. All infected people are in home insulation.
