Again IG Metall warning strikes in Lower Franconia

IG Metall tightened its warning strikes in Bavaria on Friday in the collective bargaining round of the metal and electrical industry. In Lower Franconia, work is temporarily suspended in Bad Neustadt, Bessenbach-Keilberg, Eltmann, Haßfurt, Kahl am Main, Klingenberg-Trennfurt and Würzburg. Johann Horn, district manager of IG Metall Bayern, said on Thursday: “Our warning strikes have got off to a good start, the participation is excellent. We will intensify the warning strikes again by the weekend.”

Main focus in Bad Neustadt

Bad Neustadt is a focus of the strike on Friday: The union has called on the employees of Preh, PIA, Siemens AG, Valeo Siemens, Gardner Denver, BSH Hausgeräte and Reich to walk out. There will be rallies at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. In addition, the employees of SAF-Holland in Bessenbach-Keilberg should take part in the warning strike, as well as those of Schaeffler in Eltmann (district of Haßberge).

Warning strikes also on the Lower Main

There will also be warning strikes at Bosch-Rexroth in the Haßfurt district of Augsfeld (Lkr.Hassberge) – with rallies at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. – as well as at Linde Material Handling (Plant III) and Linde Hydraulics (Plant III) in Kahl am Main ( District of Aschaffenburg). The WIKA employees in Klingenberg-Trennfurt (district of Miltenberg) were also called for a warning strike. Work at Brose in Würzburg is also to be stopped for a short time.
