Globo Screens Green Lantern (Green Lantern, in the original title) in Afternoon session this Tuesday (25), after Jornal Hoje. The movie is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. (Brasilia time). The story brings Ryan Reynolds as the iconic DC Comics character.

The film accompanies the Hal Jordan’s career, an airplane pilot who is surprised to meet an alien. The creature, at the end of its life, gives a ring to the protagonist, who becomes the hero of the comics.

The play is directed by Martin Campbell and the cast is completed by Temuera Morrison, Peter Sasgaard, Mark Strong, Jon Tenney and Blake Lively. The last mentioned, known from the Gossip Girl series, even married Ryan Reynolds after the recordings and maintains the relationship to this day.
