After the tearful video: Adele calls her fans sadly

Las Vegas (Nevada/USA) – Just two days after the “Hello” singer Adele (33) tearfully told her fans that she had to cancel her Las Vegas show at the last minute, she has now decided to phone some of the concert-goers who have already arrived – and she couldn’t help but sob sadly again and again.

One of the phone calls was at a pop-up store that sells the singer’s merch ranging from $50 to $110.
Adele sat on the other end of the video call – without makeup and tear-stained eyes – and listened to her fans as they began to gush about the shop and its items.
“Please don’t buy anything,” she sighed in disappointment. “You’ve already spent enough f****** money.”

She alluded to the fact that many people had already flown in and made themselves comfortable in their expensive hotel rooms when the singer had to announce the sad news that her concert series had to be canceled.
In another call, she offered some disappointed concert-goers a free drink – but had to quickly withdraw her offer when she realized they were under 21.

“I love you, I’m so sorry and can’t wait to finally meet you,” the Grammy winner continued. “Get your free bag – and you’re not old enough to drink, so unfortunately there’s no voucher for a free drink for you.”
She then added that despite everything, her fans should please enjoy their time in Vegas to the fullest.
“I designed it all myself,” she said of her show. “I’ve bled, sweated and cried for this. So please have fun. I’m really sorry – and it’s really nice to meet you both.”
