The reason? Netanyahu published a photo of her that was retouched with the help of Photoshop software and the differences between it and another photo of her that was uploaded in the same post were large, significant and obvious to the eye. The matter drew many reactions from both surfers and celebrities who began mocking Netanyahu, until he removed the photo from cyberspace.

Hours after the storm subsided, it was Jackie Azoulai who came out last night (Wednesday) in a column on Instagram in defense of the first lady, when she stood up for her right to make changes to her photos and specifically criticized the divisive spirit blowing within us.

“Why is everyone allowed and she not?” Azoulai was indignant over the news on the subject that was published on one of the many gossip pages that dealt with Netanyahu’s photoshop storm. “She is also a woman, and she is also allowed to do what makes her feel good!” she clarified.

Following her words, Jackie turned to Netanyahu and offered her advice regarding retouching software: “Sarah, talk to me. I’ll send you some rare filters that make your face wow,” she promised. Just before she concluded her words, she pointed the arrows at the one taking part in the stinging discourse: “Eff, how much gratuitous hatred there is in this nation,” she concluded.
