After the injection of AstraZeneca Vaccine, a 35-year-old woman experienced a stroke and died

Suara.com – A woman aged 35 years die because stroke after the injection AstraZeneca vaccine. Two other people of the same age also suffered from these complications but they could be saved.

A London doctor said the signs to watch out for in order not to happen like the 35-year-old woman are weakness in the face, arms, legs, headaches and speech problems.

Rare blood clotting problems after injection of the AstraZeneca vaccine have been linked to stroke, especially in young people.

Until now, this blood clotting problem was thought to affect certain veins that supply the brain and stomach. However, this case study suggests blood clots can also affect the main arteries causing stroke.

Experts emphasize that strokes and blood clots are extremely rare. This happened because British people who were younger than 40 years old were no longer given the AstraZeneca vaccine injection.

Because reported from The Sun, the AstraZeneca vaccine is considered to be more risky for people under 40 years of age. Instead, they will be given the Pfizer vaccine or Moderna vaccine to minimize the risk of serious side effects.

Meanwhile, experts from the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery at UCL detailed 3 cases of stroke that occurred in the UK. The 35 year old woman who died experienced intermittent headaches on the right side and around her eye for 6 days after vaccination.

After 5 days, he awoke with a feeling of drowsiness and weakness in his face, arms and legs. He also underwent brain surgery to reduce the pressure on his skull along with other medical treatments.

The second patient, a 37 year old white woman, suffered from headache, confusion, weakness in the left arm and loss of vision on the left side of the face for 12 days after vaccination. However, he survived after undergoing medical treatment.

The third patient, a 43 year old male who was hospitalized 3 weeks after vaccination because of speech and language comprehension problems. He underwent platelet and plasma transfusions along with other treatments, but survived and remained stable.

In all cases, the patients had an ischemic stroke caused by blockage of a large artery to supply blood to the brain. Ischemic stroke is the most common type of stroke that occurs in people aged 55 years and over.

These three cases were first reported after AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine injection. According to the Journal of Neurology Neurosurgery & Psychiatry report, all three patients also had low platelet counts.

Blood clots with a low platelet count after vaccination are called vaccine-induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia (VITT). They are usually seen in the smaller blood vessels and usually drain blood from the brain.

“Our study suggests that ischemic strokes are much more common, because arterial thrombosis that blocks blood flow to parts of the brain may also be from vaccine-induced thrombosis,” explains David Werring, professor of clinical neurology at UCL.

Ian Douglas, a professor of pharmacacoepidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, admits that he already has some evidence that the types of blood vessels are affected, including arteries and veins.

“However, cases like this are very rare and certainly far less common in people who have been injected with the AstraZeneca vaccine than people who have been exposed to the Covid-19 corona virus,” he explained.
