Pérez has been with the Racing Point team, formerly racing under the name Force India, for seven years. “Everything in life has a beginning and an end. And after seven years together, my time with the team will end after this season,” wrote Pérez, who joined Force India in 2014 after one season in McLaren.
In 2019, he extended the contract with the team for three years, a chance to get Vettel, who will not get a new contract for Ferrari next season, but the team management apparently forced the plans to change plans. Pérez has no idea about his future yet. “I have no Plan B,” he wrote.
