After suffering a loss in the general election, the 37-year-old Finnish prime minister resigns while the European right wing gains momentum.

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, who took office at the age of 33 and received worldwide attention, resigned after losing the general election.

In this general election, I was able to feel the right-wing wind sweeping Europe following Italy and Sweden.

In the Finnish general election, half of the 200 seats were won by right-wing parties.

The center-right National Union Party became the first party, followed by the far-right Finland Party.

The Social Democratic Party of Sanna Marin, the world’s youngest elected prime minister, remained in the third party.

The deteriorating security and economic situation, as well as the party scandal during the corona period, was the decisive blow.

The biggest winner in the Finnish general election is the far-right Finnish party, which has advocated anti-immigration policies and exit from the European Union.

The party that first won seats in 2015 has grown into a position that threatens the first party in less than 10 years.

In Montenegro’s presidential election, the 30th center-right party candidate won a landslide victory after a runoff.

Fatigue from the current president’s 33-year long rule and corruption in the ruling party are cited as reasons for giving up his seat to a political newcomer.

In Italy last year, a far-right government was born for the first time in 100 years, and in Sweden, a right-wing coalition won general elections.

With success in power in each country, the heyday of the right wing in Europe is expected to continue for the time being.
