jpnn.com, MOJOKERTO – The East Java Regional Police detained a member of the Pasuruan Police Brigadier Randy Bagus Hari Sasongko.
The detention is related to the suicide case of Novia Widyasari Rahayu in Mojokerto.
East Java Deputy Police Chief Brigadier General Slamet Hadi Supraptoyo said the detention was carried out in accordance with the results of the investigation conducted by investigators.
“Currently, the suspect with the initials RB has been secured in accordance with the authority of the investigators,” said Slamet Hadi to reporters, Saturday (4/12) night.
According to Slamet, Brigadier Randy will be punished internally by the Police and criminally.
This ethical action is in accordance with the regulations of the National Police Chief.
“Internally, we will apply the provisions of Perkap No. 14 of 2011 regarding the code of ethics, which is ensnared under Articles 7 and 11,” said Slamet Hadi.
Furthermore, those who are snared are also subject to criminal penalties in accordance with Article 348 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
