The accused had admitted to committing the incident in the investigations of the Public Prosecution, and investigations confirmed the validity of what the accused admitted to killing his mother by strangling her with her head covering. In today’s session and with the court’s discussion, the accused confessed before the court to killing his mother because he suspected her behavior in the presence of the defense, who requested his referral to psychiatry to reveal his psychological and mental condition at the time of the commission of the incident, so the court issued its previous decision to refer him to the Abbasiya Psychiatric Hospital to find out his psychological and nervous condition at the time of his crime.
