Despite the cost increases for energy, raw materials and logistics, the Upper Austrian fiber manufacturer Lenzing improved its results significantly in the past year. The net income for the year was 127.7 million euros, after a deficit of 10.6 million euros in the previous year. Earnings before depreciation (Ebitda) increased by 89 percent to 362.9 million euros, the operating result (EBIT) increased six-fold to 200.6 million euros. For 2022, Lenzing is aiming for a significantly higher Ebitda.
