According to ABC, Liverpool is closely monitoring Marco Asensio’s contract situation at Real Madrid and is considering a move.

Well, the news comes after Arsenal saw a 34 million pound offer rejected over the summer, according to Cadena SER.
Marca also wrote that Tottenham had an offer rejected, although it is Liverpool who is now mentioned in Asensio’s latest update.

ABC believes that Jürgen Klopp’s team is weighing a move for the 26-international Spanish international, which is out of contract in June 2023.
That may seem a bit far off, although he must renew his contract or be sold next summer, or Real Madrid will lose him for nothing.
ABC adds that a Liverpool move has tempted Asensio before, which is particularly interesting.

In our opinion, no one in Europe can replace Mohamed Salah.
However, Asensio has been compared to the prolific Egyptian in the past.

In that sense, Liverpool’s data-driven transfer approach may have found Salah 2.0; certainly, it has been very successful before.
So far this season, Asensio has scored three goals in six La Liga games, although they all came in one game, as he scored a hat-trick against Mallorca.
There is no denying that Asensio has immense quality, and if Liverpool can get it cheap, it would be foolish not to at least try.
In other news, the £ 6.5m forward sold by Liverpool in July has scored more than Jota and Firmino combined.
