The latest issue of Hungary’s motorsport magazine has been published, in which we say goodbye to Sebastian Vettel, talk about Fernando Alonso, but also evaluate the state of the F1 season during the summer break.
The events really picked up in the week before we closed: the Hungarian Grand Prix is of course always the highlight of the year for us, but this time the retirement of Sebastian Vettel, another blunder by Ferrari, and the unexpected transfer of Fernando Alonso after the weekend also upset the mood. In the latest issue of Autósport és Formula Magazin, we deal with each topic: we say goodbye to Vettel, for example, with a summary of his career, his main statistics and the opinions of his peers.
As for Ferrari: we are evaluating the part of the season before the summer break and of course the Maranello team is one of the protagonists: how and why did the Leclercs get to this point? At the same time, Red Bull received the two World Cup titles on a plate and gratefully accepted them, even if mathematically, of course, this could not be decided yet – but the improvement of Mercedes could also play into their hands in the sequel.
Speaking of Red Bull: we made an exclusive interview with Raymond Vermeulen, Max Verstappen’s manager, and tried to find out what it took to turn the Dutch classic into a world champion. You can also read an exclusive interview in our magazine with Stefano Domenicali, who also spoke to AFM about the Hungarian Grand Prix and the future of F1, we talked to Valtteri Bottas, but we also deal with the fact that the attitude and perception of the FIA has changed a little for this year: is it good this way, maybe sometimes already unnecessary?

Of course, in addition to F1 topics, our magazine cannot miss the events and most interesting background stories of MotoGP, WRC, other international and domestic series, as well as our car test drives.
Unfortunately, the AFM was also affected by the negative economic effects, so this time we can publish a bimonthly issue, and according to the current situation, this will be the case for the rest of the season as well – we will report next in October, but we will of course compensate our subscribers.
