In Islam and local culture in Indonesia, circumcision becomes one of the obligations before the child reaches puberty.
However, for some people, various reasons for circumcision are only done when they are adults. It is never too late for the good of doing this circumcision.
Dr Boyke Dian Nugraha SpOG MARS explained, there are various positive effects of circumcision, especially circumcision for adults.
Among other things, reducing the risk of contracting infectious diseases for their partners.
“There is a lot of demand for adult circumcision on the part of women,” said Boyke Dian Nughara.
He said this when he was the speaker of an online event with the theme ‘Examining Circumcision for Adult Men’, Thursday (8/4/2021).

Circumcision or circumcision apart from religious and cultural aspects, said Boyke, there are aspects of cleanliness and health.

The virus under certain conditions can trigger cancer. Especially cervical cancer that attacks women. Likewise with the man himself.
