The police have finished identifying one body KKB terrorists who died with Lesmin Waker in Puncak Regency, Papua. The body was identified as Wandis Enimbo (29).
“The process of identifying the bodies, which was carried out at the Ilaga Puncak District Health Center, was attended by the Head of the Puncak Police, Kompol I Nyoman, Dandim 1714 Puja, the Nemangkawi Gakkum Ops (Law Enforcement Operational Law Enforcement) Task Force identification team,” said Head of the Nemangkawi Operations Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Iqbal Alqudussy in a written statement, Friday (14/5/2021).
“By taking fingerprints of the body, decorative items used, matching faces,” he continued.
Wandis Enimbo is suspected of being the Lesmin Waker adjutant. Lesmin Waker himself is one of the KKB terrorist commanders under the leadership of Lekagak Tenggelen.
“The identification results of the bodies of members of the Lekagak Telenggen terrorist group who died, after making a firefight with the Indonesian National Police on Thursday, May 13, 2021, terrorists from Lekagak Telenggen’s subordinates Wandis Enimbo with a position in the group as Lesmin Waker’s personal aide,” explained Iqbal.
Iqbal explained that the authorities also collected information related to the body to the Head of North Ilaga District, Joni Elatotagam. The apparatus also asked for information from the Head of the Puncak Regency Dukcapil Service as well as the Chairperson of the Puncak Regency Customary Deliberative Council.
“From the testimony of witnesses who were interviewed, it was true that the person concerned was the terrorist aide Lesmin Waker who was always with KKB Lesmin Waker,” said Iqbal.
Iqbal added that Wandis’ body was successfully evacuated by the authorities after a shootout with KKB terrorists. However, Lesmin’s body was not found at the crime scene (TKP) and was allegedly evacuated by KKB.
“(Lesmin Waker’s body) was not found. It is suspected that his group was evacuated,” explained Iqbal to detikcom when confirmed about the whereabouts of Lesmin Waker, Friday night.
