Adidas is reconsidering its collaboration with Kanye West

German sportswear giant Adidas is reconsidering its relationship with its business partner, American rapper Kanye West, CNBC reported.
And the “CNBC” channel quoted a company statement stating: “After repeated efforts to resolve the situation by mutual agreement, we have decided to reconsider the partnership. We will continue to participate in the management of the current product during this period.”

According to the report, Adidas made the decision to reconsider its relationship with West due to the rapper’s public criticism of the company and its CEO, Kasper Rorsted.

The American rapper, who legally changed his name to “Ye” in August, said the German group was copying his ideas.

In 2013, Adidas announced its partnership with West. The rapper and the German company took their relationship to the next level in 2016 after announcing an extension of the deal and the launch of a new “Yeezy” category.
