From the Breast Cancer Diagnosed Association, its president, Olga Sotelo, assures that they want to continue betting on culture and supporting all non-professional artists, who, although they paint as a hobby, do not lack creativity and talent. For this reason, despite the pandemic, Adicam wanted to continue with its Art contest, which this year had as its selected theme the title of “Ecoloxía feminina. Mind of the future ”. with which we want to vindicate the need to care for the environment always related to the image of women that so identifies Adicam.
Yesterday, in a “petit committee” event, without an audience due to the pandemic, the exhibition of the works of this contest was inaugurated and can be seen at the Adicam headquarters in Casa da Bola. The president was there; the deputy of Social Cohesion, Olga García and the president of the jury, Loreto Blanco. At the event, the prizes were presented to the three winners in this contest, which is a tradition in Cangas.
Awards
Nerea Cordero Cerviño won the first prize with the work “Essentials”; Irene González Corral, who could not attend, was the second winner, with the work “Esperanza” and Marta Marchena, with the work “Xeracións”, got the third.
The exhibition can be seen from Monday to Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Tuesdays, in the afternoon, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
