During her show in Las Vegas, Adele (with a glass of wine in hand) got into a conversation with a fan, who told her he had been drinking for several hours.

I’m very, very envious.” The sentence left everyone stunned, and the singer wanted to explain herself better: «I stopped drinking about 3 months ago. However, sobriety is boring. During my twenties, I was almost a full-blown alcoholic. So, I decided to give it a rest. I also gave up caffeine.”
The singer added that she really misses alcohol, and that the decision to stop came after the lockdowns: Adele, in fact, during the quarantines had reached the point of drinking 4 bottles of wine a day, before lunch. This is how the star described that period: «I wanted to finish my album. But we were always at home drunk.”
Despite the decision to give up alcohol, Adele is said to be about to celebrate her son Angelo’s birthday with all the honors (including alcohol), who is about to turn 11. The singer spoke a lot about her son: «He is my son, and obviously I adore him. He is much smarter than me, surely when we finish celebrating I will feel like an abused mother”, she added jokingly.
