Adam Auclair will not play his last season in the Rouge et Or uniform at Laval University if ever the Quebec institutions decide to go ahead with the next campaign in the fall.
The hybrid linebacker will instead do his physical education internship at Paul-Hubert high school and will take the opportunity to lend a hand to the coaching staff of the Rimouski Pioneers who play in Division 3 of the college circuit. He will occupy the position of coordinator of the special units and will watch over the defensive backs.
With the Pioneers, Auclair will reunite with head coach Kevin Nichols who was his positional coach for two seasons at Laval before leaving for Bas-Saint-Laurent last spring. Auclair’s presence comes in handy for Nichols who lost the services of two defensive coaches in the offseason.
