Latvian actress Anta Aizupe once sought peace in the monastery. She told this in Agnese Meiere’s material “I could go on a date” in the edition “Ieva”.
Anta says that she lived in the monastery for two weeks.
“I lived there for two weeks and all this time I was mostly silent. Today it would be called a retreat retreat, but at that time we didn’t know the sign. I had a Bible and a book explaining the Bible, that’s all,” says Anta, adding that the monastery done kitchen work.
Aizupe added that she got peace in the monastery, but soon after she was dragged back into the carousel – roles, relationships, children.
