Actor Uhm Jung-hwa expressed his wish to appear in director Bong Joon-ho’s work.
The second episode of ‘Salon Drip’ was released on the YouTube channel ‘TEO Theo’, which was released on the 30th. ‘Salon Drip’ is a talk show hosted by MC Jang Do-yeon, who invites different guests every week to enjoy a ‘calm and aristocratic’ tea time with the concept of a high-class social gathering.
Eom Jung-hwa, who appeared in the video titled ‘Tea, will you do it well?’, met Jang Do-yeon with a bouquet of peonies. Then, Uhm Jung-hwa handed Jang Do-yeon a letter of recommendation to join the ‘Salon Drip’ social gathering. The letter of recommendation contained the content, “The person above has a specialty of crossing the line. He is crossing the line like crazy by mastering singers, actors, and even variety shows with talents that he has no control over.” Director Bong Joon-ho’s name was written on the recommendation.
In response, Uhm Jung-hwa confessed his fanaticism for director Bong Joon-ho, saying, “I asked him to write someone who was a world-class person.” Uhm Jung-hwa also added, “I really like the work and I want to receive the work of director Bong Joon-ho at least once in my life.” Uhm Jung-hwa then sent a video letter saying, “Please contact Director Bong.”
