Jung Il-woo, who said, “It’s been a long time since my debut work, ‘Unstoppable High Kick’ (2006), has made a comeback these days. I’m just thankful that many people are talking about it,” said Jung Il-woo, “I happened to change the channel and saw a rerun, and my hands and feet were cringing. “I can’t see my works very well,” he said. Still, he showed a strong attachment to the work and explained, “I have been working as an actor for 18 years, and this work has become the foundation for that. I am very lucky to have met the character of my life in my debut work.”

He continued, “When I was in my 20s, I had a lot of worries. As I entered my 30s, I thought I should create a more developed character rather than breaking my existing image. I believe that there will be a character that suits me as a person in my 30s, and I want to meet such a character.”

It was also mentioned that Jung Il-woo was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm at the age of 27. Jung Il-woo said, “It was the biggest turning point for me in my 20s,” and “As I went through such a painful time, my attitude and attitude toward my work changed with gratitude every day. I still have a long way to go. This will be an opportunity to become stronger and more mature.” “I think,” he said confidently.

He added, “I need more experience, but although it may not be visible to others, I am living my life fiercely in my own way.”

Meanwhile, in a previous broadcast, Jung Il-woo was shocked at the time of his diagnosis and recalled, “I haven’t been out of the house for months. At the time of the diagnosis, the teacher said, ‘It’s a time bomb-like disease, so you don’t know when you’ll die.'”

He said, “I’m still tracking it. I’m getting tested every six months.” He said, “I’ve known about the disease for over 10 years already. This is my disease and my body, so what can I do? I’m just accepting it and living with it.” .

In addition, Jung Il-woo, who had originally been advised by a doctor not to board an airplane, expressed his mindset, saying, “If you’re stuck there, that’s the only thing you can think about. So I started traveling to find myself, and I thought that travel was really important.” Reporter Jeong-hyuk Lee jjangga@ sportschosun.com
