D.due to a bad start to the season with four straight losses, the Los Angeles Lakers want change and Russell Westbrook is the player’s main focus.
According to journalist Shams Charania, of The Athletic portal, the team is monitoring the situation of some players, in particular Terry Rozierof the Charlotte Hornets.
The reason is the use of the three-point line and in the directing department. Charania said a trade involving the hornets the director depends on the franchise’s chances of qualifying for the playoffs.
Rozier is a consistent shooter and has shot 37.4 percent off the three-point line and 19.3 points per game this season.
The Lakers have other players in their sights
On the Lakers, the name that would likely be involved in the exchange is that of shooting guard Russell Westbrook. If nothing happens with Rozier, other alternatives for the men of LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the winger Josh Richardsoncurrently with the San Antonio Spurs, and the Indiana Pacers’ friend Hiel and Myles Turner.
The latter two were linked to commercial voices in the off-season, however no trade was made. Hield is one of the league’s solid shooters, hitting 36.6% from long range last season, and with LeBron James’ recent statement that the Lakers can’t shoot “a coin in the ocean”, the team is seriously considering bringing some pieces like him to remedy the problem.
