Ludwigshafen (dpa / lrs) – An 18-year-old motorcyclist without a driver’s license collided with an oncoming car and was seriously injured. A second 26-year-old motorcyclist was just able to avoid the car, but then also fell, the police said on Friday morning. He was slightly injured in the accident on Thursday evening.

The 51-year-old driver crashed into the motorcycle while turning left. The 18-year-old driver did not have a driver’s license, according to police. In addition, his motorcycle was not registered and had a wrong registration number. The driver was not injured. How exactly the accident came about is still unclear. The police suspect that the motorcyclists are traveling too fast. The investigation continues.
