NEW YORK – In the midst of the winter storm, authorities reported a chain-link collision involving about 19 vehicles on the Henry Hudson Parkway in Manhattan.
According to the report, the accident occurred on Wednesday, around 6:10 pm, and about six people were injured. Two of them for minor injuries and four for more serious injuries, but they are expected to survive.
The victims were transported to hospitals in the area.
Lanes on the south side of the freeway were closed after the incident.
This is a case under investigation. The cause of the collision is unknown.
