Four people were injured in an accident at the German amusement park Europa-Park, the German police reported. At a dive show, the water basin ruptured, causing the water to run out. As a result, the decor collapsed.
That happened this afternoon during the diving show Retorno dos Piratas. Several pieces of the decor ended up in the water and ended up in the Atlantica Supersplash water roller coaster.
The identities and nationalities of the injured have not been released. Nothing is known about the nature and seriousness of the injuries.
With six million visitors per year, Europa-Park is Germany’s largest amusement park. It is near Freiburg. Two months ago, a fire broke out in the park.
