CIANJUR – Currently the case of the corona virus (Covid-19) in Indonesia has indeed decreased. However, herd immunity must still be established so that Indonesia can immediately be free from the pandemic.
This is what prompted Cipanas Village together with the Cianjur District Health Office, Cipanas Health Center and MNC Peduli in carrying out vaccinations for residents of Cipanas Village, Cipanas District, Cianjur, West Java on Wednesday (22/9/2021).
This vaccination activity is a form of support and concern for the handling of Covid-19. With vaccination, it is hoped that Cipanas residents will gain immunity against the virus and avoid the risk of severe symptoms if exposed to Covid-19.
Residents of Cipanas Village look enthusiastic in getting this Sinovac vaccine. Even though it was crowded, the activities were carried out by implementing the applicable health protocols.
Cipanas Sub-district Head Latief Ridwan thanked MNC Peduli for its support in this vaccination activity. “Hopefully, with the existence of MNC Peduli, the people of Cipanas will understand better, better understand the meaning and function of vaccines,” he said.
Furthermore, Latief also said that the people of Cipanas were quite enthusiastic about the implementation of this vaccine.
Meanwhile, the Head of Cipanas Village, Muhammad Agus Sahputra, expressed his hope that more vaccine programs would be held in Cipanas Village in order to fulfill the quota of residents who have not been vaccinated. “The enthusiasm for getting vaccinated is extraordinary, therefore we hope that there will also be other vaccine activities to cover the community, especially school children, Koran teachers and school teachers,” Agus explained.
“I would like to thank MNC Peduli, because MNC Peduli has touched many people, especially those in Cipanas Village,” he said.
Agus also hopes that the people of Cipanas Village can continue to be healthy and there will be no more corona cases in Cipanas Village and nationally so that the economy, education, social life can return to normal.
One of the participants, Elfira Febriana, welcomed this event positively. “I came here after the first dose of vaccination, even though I’m breastfeeding but I’m not worried. God willing, after being vaccinated, I will be healthy and even healthier,” he said excitedly.
