According to BILD and SPORT BILD information, AC Milan knocked on the Werder striker’s door and asked if he was willing to move to Italy. The 19-time champion is currently looking for a striker and has Leverkusen’s Sardar Azmoun (28) on the list, among others. And now also Füllkrug, who “cannot comment on the subject at the moment”.

Werder Bremen: AC Milan hot for a filling jug!
Werder Bremen is asking for a fee of at least 20 million euros. The false start to the season (cup failure, Bayern smack) hasn’t changed anything about the basic willingness to make a change. If the fee is right and Bremen have a suitable successor at hand, they would let their international (contract until 2025) go.
Last week there was a meeting between the advisor Niklas Füllkrug and Werder’s sporting management. Presumably to discuss a possible change in advance. And it is now becoming more concrete, even if the clubs are not yet negotiating. Clemens Fritz, Werder’s football boss, to BILD: “So far, nothing has arrived with us.”
There are still issues to be resolved. Before signing a new striker, Milan want to give up attacker Divock Origi (28/formerly Liverpool, Wolfsburg). And of course, Füllkrug and Werder would actually have to say yes to the change.
