AC Ajaccio-Dijon: criminal investigation after post-match incidents

The floor of Ajaccio opened a investigation following the incidents that took place between ACA supporters and of Dijon Saturday night after Ligue 2 match which took place in Timizzolu.

“Dijon supporters were taken apart near a bar by a group of about ten people, supporters of the Ajaccio club, and were allegedly assaulted in the Aspretto area,” the prefecture specified in a press release.

This Tuesday, the prosecution confirmed “no complaints” has not been filed. The Dijon supporters have already left the island.

This judicial investigation is in addition to an administrative investigation. According to the prefect, the latter should allow “to clarify the circumstances of the incident in which fifteen people would be involved”.
