There are constant arguments between Tatjana and her ex Viktor, an archaic man. The unimaginable happens: Viktor kills Tatjana – in front of their children.

DARMSTADT – Viktor is a hothead. He has a clear idea of how a relationship should work: the main thing is that he has something to say. That didn’t go so well for his five marriages, which resulted in five children. Again and again Viktor struck, but his wives also attacked him.
But none of this compares to St. Nicholas Day in 2004. Viktor visits Tatjana, his ex-wife, who lives with their children and a new partner in the same apartment building as he does. In Darmstadt-Eberstadt, a “hot place”, as Viktor says. Because of this “hot spot” Viktor also owns a pistol. A pistol that becomes a murder weapon on St. Nicholas Day.
In front of their children, he executes Tatjana. But he still hasn’t had enough. Tatjana’s new partner also has to die. A cruel act that leaves traumatized children and the material for an award-winning feature film behind.
