Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, and Olivier Giroud instead appeared to join their respective clubs. For example, Griezmann this season “only” made 19 goals and 12 assists from 50 appearances and failed to bring Barcelona to the Spanish league championship.
Even so, Benzema’s summons were not without criticism. Because Benzema is considered to be damaging the harmony of the team that has been formed since winning the 2018 World Cup.
