Abdominal worms are one of the most common diseases that afflict many people, following exposure to many health reasons, often requiring ongoing care and periodic check-ups with a specialist doctor, in order to get the appropriate treatment without exacerbating the problem.
In the following report, “Consultation” reviews the most important groups susceptible to abdominal worms, according to “Medicalnewstoday” and the World Health Organization.
Abdominal worms are among the most common intestinal problems that afflict people, especially children, due to following bad habits or neglecting personal hygiene, which requires the consultation of a specialist doctor, especially with the onset of annoying symptoms.
The groups most susceptible to infection with abdominal worms
The results of many researches have shown that children are more susceptible to abdominal worm infection, because they are not used to permanent hygiene, which exposes them to dust and pollutants that can remain on the body for long periods, in addition to weak immunity of children, which increases the chances of infection.

Treatment of abdominal worms usually depends on the type of worm and the treatment is often done under the supervision of a specialist doctor and in some cases the patient needs surgery to increase the size of the worm from the normal rate or the appearance of some complications that can harm the patient.

Infection with worms can lead to some complications that significantly affect the body, including:
Anemia, due to difficulty absorbing nutrients.
Intestinal blockage.

Wash fruits and vegetables well before eating them.
Avoid swimming in dirty water.
Use boiling water to clean food thoroughly.
