On Saturday the Offenbach Kickers took their maiden away win in their first match under the guidance of interim coach Alfred Kaminski. Pascal Bieler also celebrated a successful debut on the Steinbach coaching bench, while Ulm had to settle for a point in the Swabian duel in Aalen. Victories also for SG Barockstadt and Bahlinger SC.

The ninth day of racing took place over the weekend with a slightly blurry schedule. The two second representatives of FSV Mainz 05 (at FSV Frankfurt) and TSG Hoffenheim (against Eintracht Trier) had successfully applied to be able to play their matches at a later date, as they currently have to release many junior national team players. .
The spirit has recently been below average at Hessen Kassel and Kickers Offenbach, so there has been tension in the Hessian crisis derby. In the first half the spectators saw a match in a draw, there were chances for both teams, in the last minutes before the break the hosts of Kassel were close to 1: 0. Interim Offenbach manager Alfred Kaminski probably found the right words in the locker room, because his players were more present in the second half. Meanwhile, the SSV Ulm 1846 leaders had to settle for a point in the Swabian showdown at VfR Aalen. Primus had a hard time getting into the game and was showered with cold at the start: after a combination, the ball went to Maiella, who scored 1-0 (2nd). As a result, Ulm played more, but there were hardly any great possibilities. Shortly before the break, however, there is a penalty for the guests, an opportunity that Reichert does not miss and draws 1-1 at half-time (37 ‘). In the second half, the “Spatzen” pushed for the advantage as the playing time increased, but Aalen remained dangerous on the counterattack. In the final, the guests weakened – Reichert had to leave the field for a tactical foul with the traffic light card – so much so that in the end the points were shared. Ulm remains at the top and unbeaten in the league.
In the match between SGV Freiberg and TSV Steinbach Haiger, the focus was on a rookie: Pascal Bieler played his first match as a Steinbach manager and immediately won 2-0. Both teams had good chances in the first half but gave up the lead in a balanced and entertaining match. Things change after the second half, Güclü scores 1-0 for Steinbach (53 ‘) on a cross from Singer who fell at his feet. As a result, the guests tried to decide the match for themselves. The 2-0 comes from a penalty that Firat transforms with confidence (68 °). Victories for Fulda and Bahlingen
Two other teams managed to score three points on Saturday. SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz won the duel for promotion against Wormatia Worms 4: 1. The hosts took control in the initial phase and took the lead midway through the first half: Ganime Bastos headed for the corner to lead 1-0 (27 ‘). But Fulda kept up, the guests’ defense was heavily contested. It was strange that it was 2-0. After the coordination problems between goalkeeper Cymer and Reuss, Siakam pushed the ball into the empty net (36th). Homburg approaches Ulm
