A utility vehicle exploded and caught fire on Tuesday morning on the General Paz highway, between the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Saavedra and the Buenos Aires town of Florida.
The incident occurred around 9.31 a few meters from the intersection of General Paz and Cabildo Avenue, and at the moment it had not been reported whether people had suffered injuries.

The explosion of the “Kangoo type” utility vehicle that was totally destroyed was heard for several kilometers around and produced an extensive column of smoke.
According to Agustín, a neighbor who lives in a building located in Cabildo and Genera Paz, described an “impressive explosion.”
“It seemed that the building was falling,” the witness told the channel TN, while he assured that he saw how an ambulance was carrying a person.
