Half past six -program host and meteorologist Anniina Valtonen tells on Instagram how she took a positive pregnancy test a year ago on April Fool’s Day.
– Years of torment ended on prank day. Everything felt unreal, even a joke. It took a while for the mind to believe in the possibility of luck and success, Valtonen writes.
Valtonen has previously said that she dreamed of a baby for years, but the pregnancy was not successful, and infertility treatments were not helpful at first.
In the end, the pregnancy was successful through in vitro fertilization.
– Then we cried for happiness. Now let’s hang out to make the little one laugh. Onni still brings tears to her eyes.
Valtonen’s baby was born last December.
Valtonen has become known as a television meteorologist from Nelose and Yle. In 2022, Valtose also became the current affairs program Puoli sättam kasvo. Valtonen was chosen as the best performer of 2021 at the Kultainen Venla gala.
