The deputy general director of health, Rui Portugal, said this Wednesday that “an evaluation of the technical character is taking place” for the Avante party, which takes place between the 4th and 6th of September this year.
At this afternoon’s press conference, the head of the General Health Directorate (DGS) explained that “there are questions that were asked by the promoting entity and answered by DGS”, just as there are “questions asked by DGS and that are being answered by the entity prosecutor ”.
Rui Portugal pointed out that the Avante party “is a complex event due to the amount of activities and the space in which it takes place and is being talked about”.
As such, the deputy general director of health was keen to emphasize that all this analysis requires time, either “on the part of the General Directorate of Health, or on the formulation of all contingency plans by the promoting entity, which is difficult naturally, but it is being accomplished ”.
