Tuesday afternoon, a Nantes resident, aged 24, was fined 600 euros by the chamber for immediate appearances of the Nantes criminal court, according to Ocean Press and West France. This individual, unknown to the judiciary, had taken part in the “peaceful” demonstration on Sunday at La Beaujoire by FCN supporters against President Kita. Incidents had broken out with the CRS when some fans had wanted to access the large parking lot of Beaujoire.

The man had been arrested for throwing projectiles in the direction of the CRS. “I did not launch projectiles, I simply launched pucks of tear gas”, he explained in court. This FCN supporter, who said that it was “his first demonstration”, will also have to pay 150 euros in damages to three CRS who had become civil party in this case.
