The Formula One back on stage in the GP ofAustria. Max verstappen goes to win alone in front of bottas e Norris and stretch up Hamilton in the standings. The English driver had some problems and finished fourth. They retrieve the Ferrari, with Sainz e Leclerc fifth and eighth.
Verstappen manages to maintain his position at the start despite the attack by Norris. The other also manages to defend the third place Red Bull, driven by Perezdespite the pressure of Lewis Hamilton. Bravo Leclerc which recovers 2 positions, badly Sainz which loses 3. Already in the first lap, however, there is the entrance of the Safety Car due to an accident Ocon cornering 1.
When the race restarts there is a brawl forward with the contact between Norris e Perez, with the latter ending off the track and returning tenth, ahead of Leclerc who previously lost a position after an attack attempt a Vettel. In the fray, bottas beats Hamilton but the English champion immediately takes back the third position.
Leclerc is unleashed and attacks Perez: the pilot of the Red Bull defends himself but the Ferrari driver crosses and gives no escape to the Mexican. Contact with Perez costs 5 seconds to Norris, which in the meantime is overtaken by Hamilton on lap 21. The penalty allows the Finn to Mercedes to earn third place.
Pit stop time. Sergio Perez stops before Leclerc and the Mexican manages to get ahead of the Monegasque after the driver’s break Ferrari. Leclerc but he tries and attacks on the outside Perez: contact between the two, similar to that with Norris. The companion of Verstappen maintains the position but is penalized by 5 seconds. The two pilots battle again and touch again. Perez is further punished by 5 seconds.
Hamilton he has car problems and is overtaken in just over a lap of either bottas that gives Norris and is forced to return to the pits. The English champion is still fourth, but loses valuable points from Verstappen flying alone towards yet another victory. Pit stop for Sainz with a few laps to go, the Spaniard returns to eighth behind his teammate Leclerc. They retrieve the Ferrari with Sainz fifth (exceeds Ricciardo at the end and there is the disqualification of Perez) e Leclerc eighth. The Monegasque, a few laps from the end, was overtaken by his teammate, who had fresher tires. A good move from Ferrari.
