A strong wind is coming to the Czech Republic, warn meteorologists

Winds will begin to pick up Monday evening from the west as a cold front moves through. It should blow strongly during the night on Tuesday. The warning will be valid until the morning in all Czech regions and the Vysočina.

Meteorologists expect the wind to increase again during the day on Tuesday. The warning will apply to Prague, Středočeský, Karlovy Vary, Pilsen, Ústí and parts of the South Bohemian and Liberec regions.

Compared to Monday, Tuesday’s temperatures will be significantly lower, in the west of the territory they will only be around 7 °C. Snowfall or mixed precipitation will occur from higher altitudes.
