A specialist gave advice on how to properly charge your smartphone

Lowering the screen brightness and switching to Wi-Fi will help conserve battery power after charging. Vladimir Gritsenko, an expert of the NAFI platform “Digital Citizen”, told the Prime agency about this.

First of all, the specialist advised to receive calls not via the cellular network, but via Wi-Fi. To do this, you need to activate the corresponding option on your smartphone: on Android – “Calls over Wi-Fi”, on iOS – “Calls over Wi-Fi”. “This way the quality of communication will be better, and the energy consumption is less,” said Gritsenko. The expert also made a recommendation to turn off the auto-brightness of the screen and use dark wallpapers – this is important if the phone has an OLED display. In this case, the gadget will consume less energy and stay charged longer.

In addition, the specialist gave several tips that will allow the smartphone to survive until the evening and not be exhausted. The expert recommended disabling data transmission over 4G / LTE, leaving 3G, disabling automatic synchronization of applications, disconnecting smart watches and fitness trackers from the smartphone. If the device is quickly discharging, then the most correct solution to the problem would be to turn off vibration, which additionally loads the battery.

Vladimir Gritsenko also recalled that video calls, video shooting and 3D games noticeably discharge the smartphone and create a load on the battery when charging the device. Avoiding frequent use of resource-intensive applications will help save battery power until the evening.

Earlier, Vladimir Gritsenko said that third-party programs can slow down the smartphone. The specialist also noticed that there is no need for a constantly running antivirus if all applications are installed only from official stores.
