An official source in Zamalek confirmed that FIFA did not inform them of any decision related to Sporting Lisbon’s complaint against Zamalek regarding the financial value of Mahmoud Abdel Razek’s return deal, “Shikapala” to Zamalek.
The source said in his statements to “Yalla Koura” today, Saturday: “No notification has been received by the club about the issue of Shikapala and the club has been fined half a million euros in favor of Sporting Lisbon.”
He added: “We are awaiting the arrival of an official letter to start moving legally in accordance with the ruling and the reasons for the FIFA decision.”
Portuguese press reports said that Sporting Lisbon had obtained a decision from FIFA to qualify the club to receive half a million euros from Zamalek as part of the deal for the return of Shikapala to the team in 2015.
Shikabala played for Sporting Lisbon shortly before he dropped out of the team and returned to Zamalek in a deal estimated at $ 600,000 at the time.
